Once you've enabled the News Article feature, you can display news articles on your RescueGroups.org website.  And your visitors can choose to receive email alerts whenever you add new news items!

The News Articles feature can be found at Features > News Articles.

Enabling News Articles

Before you can display your news articles on your website, you must enable the feature and start adding some content.  See the chapter in this guide About News Articles.

  1. Click the Settings Icon.

  2. Click Yes next to Enable the News Articles feature.
  3. Click Save.

Displaying News Articles on Your Website

On your home page in the default layout location:

  • Website > Settings, Front Page Options
  • Latest News Articles, Select Show

Using the snippet Sidebar News Articles Block

You can style the look/feel of the sidebar news articles block using CSS.
