The biggest problem with generic breeds (like barn cat or mixed/mutt for dogs) is that not all of the adoption listing websites support them. So, for example, Petfinder does not have anything other than specific breeds in their breeds list, so we wouldn’t be able to export the pet to that website, which would be a big issue. That’s one of the major reasons why we haven’t added generic breeds.

The last thing we shoould be doing is guessing what two dogs made the breed dog we have on our hands…….mixed breed should be a choice!
