I would build a report with the fields you want and then make it a public report that users can access

Thanks, Diane. What I'm currently doing is exporting the .csv data and importing it into google sheets, then copy and pasting that into the pet's medical doc that contains their picture, vaccines, etc.  I was just hoping I could save some steps by having a document print from a dog's database with that info already on it (like with the kennel cards)

We enter the vaccines in Journal Entries where we created a type for Medical. I built a report that includes those, and the dog info you mention above.  The link below will show you an example of the report that it generates.

Thank you - this is getting closer to what I need, but I'm not seeing the Animals Journals: Entry Type selection (?) that you used in your example (I don't see any way to make the journal entries part of the report).

Well this is interesting.  At the time I created my report, there was an Animal Journal report in the standard reports supplied by RG.  It is also still in the user guide...

How can I create a report on a specific journal entry?

I want to create a report for just one specific Journal Entry Type?

You can create a Journals report and include just one or more specific Journal Entry Types.

        1. Click Reports > Reports List > Animal Journal.
        2. At any time while the report is loading click Fields.
        3. Select the fields you want to include in the report, perhaps including: Animal ID, Animal Name, Journal Entry Date.
        4. Click Next Step.
        5. On the Options page under Grouping select None in the drop down for both Group by and and then by.
        6. Still on the Options page under Filters click Add a filter.
        7. On the Fields drop down select Animal Journals: Entry Type.
        8. In the Criteria box check the Entry Types you want to include in the report.
        9. Click Save View Filter.
          1. On the Options page click Run Report

So I don't know how you would create yours now (sad)

Ok got your notes and am excited about the possibilities.  I created a report...  Reports: Animal Journal and grouped by none, and selected a filter for one particular dog by name.  Problem is, it just keeps saying "please wait while we load your report data", and I never get any info.

What fields did you select for the report?

    8. Karen

ok I actually got it to work.  Thanks for all of your help, Diane!
