Website Set-up checklist: First steps to having a dynamite website

Setting up your website is complex, but not complicated, and don't worry, we'll walk you through it. This page contains basic information about each step below, but for more detail, click the links in the steps to go to those sections of the guide.

To begin the setup of your website, you'll be completing these steps:

1. Add the Website Service to your account (if not done already).
2. Choose a hostname.
3. Verify your organization's contact information.
4. Add or import animals.
5. Complete the animal settings.
6. Upload your organization's logo.
7. Enable your affiliates.
8. Review the website settings.
9. Select a layout.
10. Open your website.
11. Add content.
12. Preview the layouts.
13. Select the colors and fonts.
14. Decide whether to use the built-in pages or create a custom page.
15. Use a domain name.
