If someone has been marked as such, does it just add them to a list we have to review? Or are there actually more benefits to utilizing this label and it will prevent them from applying?

      Susan,

Yes, that marks the contact as part of the "Do Not Adopt" Group. It cannot prevent a user from filling out a form (especially if you do not require logging in to fill the form out).  The benefit of doing so is having them in the "Do Not Adopt" Group and that makes it able to be searched and tagged easily.

In addition, if you would like to share your organization's DNA list with other RescueGroups.org organizations, go to Contacts > Settings and enable the option, Share your organization's Do Not Adopt list.

To view the shared DNA list, you'll need to login to your website and go to Services > Reports/Stats/Exports. Then, click on the link next to 'Do Not Adopt List (all sites)' to view the shared list.

      Sincerely,

      Karen
