How can I report on animals that have an owner surrender application on their 'submitted forms' tab?

You can create a custom 'Submitted Forms' Report for this need. You can read how to create a custom report in our guide here: https://userguide.rescuegroups.org/display/WSG/Creating+custom+reports
We've shared a screenshot of an example Submitted Forms report for clarity.
In your custom report, you would want to ensure you include the Submitted Forms: Animal field and then any other fields you want to see in your report.
The form filters are an important element, in order to display the desired information. We've listed the filters you would want to apply below:
- a filter to include forms that contain Owner Surrender in the Submitted Forms:Form field.
- a filter to include the beginning of your desired date range. For our example, we set a filter for the Submitted Forms: Submitted field to be more than 1/1/2019.
- a filter to include the end of your desired date range. For our example, we set a filter for the Submitted Forms: Submitted field to be less than 4/7/2020.
- A filter to only include forms where the Submitted Forms: Animal field is not blank.
You can save your custom form and then access it in the future for new dates by simply removing the date filters and adding updated ones.
