RescueGroups.org does automatically monitor and remove inactive account data from our public API on an on-going basis. Since this topic sounds like it will deal with private account data, we would request that you please submit a support ticket with an example of specific inactive account data that you have come across so that we can troubleshoot this situation.

Our WeRescue app pulls from the http api v2 and never caches data. I've received a number of comments/complaints from people who indicate that the information is very out-of-date. I did some analysis and found shelters which haven't had updates in years.
I'm wondering if there is a process which purges out-of-date information, or something that alerts you when a shelter has switched to another system and no longer keeps the RG data current?
