On other website creation programs, when you create and name a new webpage, the name goes automatically into the url. There are also usually work arounds to shorten it, if necessary. However, on rescue groups, it is always a string of information that I am sure makes sense on the back end, such as /info/display?PageID=19821, but can confuse the average viewer. Now, my organization has been working around this by creating forwarding urls, but just wondering why this is the situation?

      Jess,

The url's cannot be modified at this time, however, you can create a custom forwarder to make it easier to share a page, or for marketing materials.
