My organization accidentally deleted a user account. How do we restore it?

      Deleted user accounts can be restored. Please ask a local Site Admin for your organization to complete the following steps to restore a deleted user:

      1. Log in at RescueGroups.org and go to Services > Account Administration > Data Recovery
      2. Click on the Users link in the data table
      3. Search for the relevant User Name in the data table and click the name
      4. On the User account page, click the Edit button 
      5. Verify that the email address is correct or update it as needed
      6. Change the Status to Active
      7. Click Save User and the user will be restored

      Please note, if the email address or username is a duplicate of other user accounts in the organization, then it cannot be restored. If needed, edit the username and/or email address to ensure these fields are unique when restoring the user account.
