Hi,

Does the http api have scheduled downtimes?  The reason I ask is because sometimes, like now for example (1:00am), when I do a search, it doesn't go through.  I didn't change anything on my end and it worked perfectly fine earlier this evening.  So, why does it work sometimes and not others?  I can't test now because it's not responding.  This will be an issue once I go live because it will be unreliable if it works intermittently.

      Angelina,

The API does not have scheduled downtimes.  However, we do occasionally have issues with our system.  Last night was one of those instances.  The issue has been resolved so you should not have a problem at this time.

        Hi Richard,

Well that explains it and I'm glad it's working now.  I was trying to work last night around 1am, but I wasn't getting any data back so I called it night.  I just tried now and it's working.  I thought you all changed the structure of the data so I was going to have to change my entire structure as well. What a relief.

Do you see these occasional issues as going away completely in the near future or is it always going to happen?  What causes it?  If it's going to always be an issue then I'm going to have to have some kind of message for the users when it's not working so they know it's temporary and to try again later.  If they think it's not working then they will think it's my program and never use it again.
