How do I turn off animal exports?

I would just prefer to go in and add my animals myself on the sites I want them posted on and not export them from here.  How do I turn off the Animal Export feature for my Petfinder Account?  Thank you!

      To enable or disable animal exports, go to RescueGroups.org and click Login.  After logging in, select Animals > Exports.  From there, you can enable or disable your export accounts.  

      Petfinder is different, however.  RescueGroups.org does not automatically export data to Petfinder.  You cannot disable an export specifically for Petfinder, because there isn't one enabled.  If data from RescueGroups.org is appearing in Petfinder, it is because someone in your organization is using the Petfinder Sync App or is manually adding the information.

        I know this post is a couple of years old, but I have a similar question. When I go to add a dog, Petfinder - WA434 is selected by default under Export Accounts. - Can this be removed, or will we have to uncheck the box each time, or...?

        Dawn, 

        You can turn off all exports to Petfinder by changing the settings to not allow exports to Petfinder (at all).  However, if you simply want to not allow an individual animal to export, yes, simply uncheck the box.
