How do I run a report on how long until an animal was adopted?

I would like to generate a custom report that displays the number of days that a dog was in our rescue's care.  I define this as the difference between when dog was received, and when they were adopted.  Since all of our dogs are in foster homes, I tried using the 'Days in Foster' field, but that is calculated as "now - received", when I'd rather see "adopted_date - received".

      Hi Michael, You can use the Days in Rescue field on the custom Animal reports.  It is calculated from the Received Date to today's date... which is not accurate if the animal has been in your care more than once.

      The other option would be to use the Intakes and Outcomes feature of the Data Management service, but the only available report at this time is the Asilmoar report, which reports on rescue-wide point-in-time animal "inventory".
