It's a shame that such a powerful data tools cannot be accessed in a sensible way on a custom report.  We picked RG mainly due to the Journal tool, and now we are reverting back to an old method of tracking because we cannot use it the way we had hoped.

Dale, there is a report (Wendy mentioned it below) called Kennel Card w/ Journal.  It includes all Journal Entries.  There are actually a few reports that can include the Journal Entries, even the Kennel Card.  Some of the reports are built-in reports based on the Custom Reporting engine, so that means you can change the report once you run it, but Journal Entries is not in the list for new Custom Reports.

This isn't an option at this point, and I have asked for it as well.  I was able to get a report created that our group uses for a medical history.  Was that the kind of thing you were looking to create?  I assume the report is available to everyone, and if so it's in the reports tab called kennel card with journal.

Our group needed to do the same thing. You can't do it in custom reports, but there is a pretty easy work-around. If you go into the "journal entries" section under Animals, you can create a "custom view" and have it pull up only certain things (like rabies vaccines for instance, so you can then sort by date or reminder date and see what is coming due). In that custom view, you can also decide what animal info fields you want to include. It's worked pretty well for us so far.
