How do I delete an animal outcome?

We had an adoption that failed the same day for unusual circumstances. The adoption and outcome were recorded. We want to delete the adoption (rather than record it as a return), but it is in use. How do we delete the outcome?

      Steps to delete an Outcome:
      1. Login to your Manage account.
      2. Click Animals > Outcomes.
      3. Find the Outcome and click the Outcome ID.
      4. Click the Delete button.
