What's the best way to enter information for rabies vaccines?

Right now we're using the animal journal to enter and keep track of animal medical information, but there's no easy way to input rabies tag numbers or effective dates. I need to be able to later run a report and pull up all of that information and see all of the animals that are due for a rabies vaccine. Putting all of that information in the "comments" section is cumbersome, and there is no way to run a report for "reminder dates."

      I would love for that to be a request. Rabies vaccine tracking is a pretty big deal, and it's hard to find a program that has a good way to do it without having to enter the information in multiple places. If we could run reports by "reminder date" that would be a huge help.

        Brittany,

        I don't believe we provide you with a better solution than using the Animal Journal.  Although we could take your suggestions and create a feature request to expand the current Journals feature.
