It would be incredibly helpful to be able to edit contact information on online forms without adding an entry to the database. We are constantly battling with incorrect information from applicants.

The inability to access/change this information is also problematical when a volunteer fills out a form for someone else. Since the volunteer’s info is auto-filled on the form when they are logged in, forms are commonly submitted under incorrect names. Because there is also no way to edit the titles of the contact fields themselves, it is difficult to clarify whose contact information needs to be entered – it’s very counter-intuitive.

We have created a New Feature request in our issues tracking system known as JIRA that we believe would resolve this issue for you.  The New Feature request asks that users with Site Admin level roles be able to change that information on the Submitted Forms.  You can view that New Feature request here:

CMTY-324 - Create option to allow Site Admins to change whom a Submitted Form is attached to Open

You can login to the JIRA system to watch, comment, and vote on this New Feature request by using the same username and password that you use for this Question and Answer system.  If you do not have a username and password, you can request that here:  Sign Up for Access to UserGuide, JIRA, and Stash
