RescueGroups.org will import your pet data for you, as a one-time import. If you'd like to setup an automatic/scheduled import of your animal data via FTP, please see the Importing animal data into your account section of this guide.
Please note that you can also export your pets from Petfinder or PetPoint to be imported into RescueGroups.org (one-time manual import). The section mentioned above also has that information.
We've created a very simple Excel spreadsheet that might help you with your animal data file format. Use it if you need RescueGroups.org to do a one-time quick import (not regular FTP upload) of your animal information. Do not use this file if you are building a CSV file to FTP to us -- instead, use the information in this guide. See the chapter, Supported animal import fields.
