The RescueGroups.org Website Service and Data Management Service give you the ability to create Custom Animal Groups. These custom groups, such as Senior, Kitten, Puppy, can help keep you from having to re-enter data every time.

One great way to use this feature is when your organization has animals that are not highlighted in an adoption center or event. You can create custom groups, such as:

  • Animals in adoption center A
  • Animals at event B
  • Animals in neither

You can then create a custom note to display on these descriptions identifying the group, see our example.

With the Website Service, this feature can save you time by automatically displaying specific animals on a webpage, such as Kittens.

Where do I find it?

You can find the Custom Animal Groups page by going to Animals > Custom Animal Groups.
