Do contacts see edits we make to their info?

I am going through and editing contacts and I wanted to make sure they couldn't see the changes, comments and groups we are adding them to. Such as "do not adopt"

      They will only be able to see these changes if they have a Rescue Groups login, and have a permissions role assigned to them that allows them to see Contacts.
