Helen,
Loading data from Petstablished involves using our Import Accounts feature. Animal records added through a specific Import Account cannot affect existing animal records in your RescueGroups.org account added through other methods. When you upload import files for a specific Import Account, it will only add new animal records, or modify animal records created by a previous version of that import file.
Please note, your situation may result in duplicate records for an animal. It's possible you would want to bulk delete your existing animal records in preparation for your switch.

Thank you for your quick response. And, I would like to thank you and all the others who provide the rescuegroup service. We used it for several years, but now have grown enough (we have a vet tech!) that we need a medical tracking system.

We have been using rescuegroups as our database but are switching to petstablished. Petstablished will be exporting our animals to rescuegroups. Will the petstablished exports overwrite the data in rescuegroups? If so, how can that be prevented so the resscuegroups data is not affected?
