Can donations be imported along with contacts?

Is there a way to import donations and have a contact record created for the donor?

      Gary,

      We can do a one-time manual import of contacts, which includes a general comment field, so any additional information, like donations, can be combined and noted into that column.  You can read more about this import and find the sample spreadsheet below.
