We would like to have a contact us form on our RescueGroups.org website. How can we do this?

      You can add a Contact Us form to your RescueGroups.org Website by using the built-in Calls feature.

      Let's walk through this process.

      Step 1 - Enable the Contact Us form feature

      • Go to RescueGroups.org and click Login
      • Go to Website > Settings > Contact Info Page
      • Next to Contact Us Form, select Enabled
      • Click Save Settings at the bottom of the page.

      In order for you to use the Contact Us Form, you must have at least one public Call Category and one Call Queue created in the Calls feature. Members must be added to a Call Queue in order to get email alerts.

      Step 2 - Add Call Categories and Call Queues

      Let's say you want someone to select from the following three drop-down options on your Contact Us form for questions related to Volunteering, Fostering, and Donating supplies. We will name these Volunteer, Foster, Donate Supplies. Remember, you only need one public call category and one call queue to create a public contact us form, but let's add these three options to our contact us form so you can see how this works with more than one option.

      • Go to Features > Calls
      • Click Categories
      • Click Add a Category
      • For Name* type in Volunteer
      • For Default Queue*, click the green Add icon
      • The Edit Call Queue window will pop open
      • Next to Name* type Volunteer (note that we are using the same call queue as our call category)
      • Select the Urgency

      You can also specify a from email address. For example, if you have volunteer@yourrescue.org, you may want to enter that email address, but you can leave it blank.

      • Click Save.
      • That pop up window will close and you will return to the screen where you have started adding the Call Category.
      • Next to Public, select Yes.

      Since we will be adding 2 more Call Categories and Call Queues, be sure to tick the "Add Another" box.

      • Click Save

      Repeat the process listed above. Be sure to select the Call Queue for the Call Category you are adding.

      When done, your built-in Contact Us web page will have a form with those three drop down options.
