How can we get HTML emails?

We are currently using email templates.

However it is text only.  These text only emails do not capture the information we want to send our customers.  How can we get HTML emails?

      You are correct that Email Templates are currently text format only. We would suggest that you add a feature request for HTML email templates in our issue tracking system, Jira. Using the same username and password as you do for this Q&A system, you can login to Jira and create a Feature Request.
