How can I fix the way apostrophes from online forms render in email?

It sounds like apostrophes come through in html. Is there a fix for this aside from avoiding them?

      Unfortunately, this is a known bug with our Online Forms email notifications that has been reported in our issue tracking system here:

      CMTY-436 - Apostrophe becomes ’ in submitted form responses Open
