Does filling out an online form create a contact?

When a potential adopter fills out an adoption application, is their name and email automatically entered as a contact?

      Heidi,

      Gale is correct in that it can be created as a contact.  However, it requires the settings to be enabled to do so.  Specifically, under the "Contact management when an Online Form is submitted" section of your Online Forms settings must have "Add Contact to Record" selected.  You can read more details about your settings for online forms at the following link:
