I need to merge the contacts to an excel file for mailing labels. How is this done?

      I would think the easiest way to do this would be to create a custom view that included your adopter's address in your adopters' group then export that list as a CSV. Do this by:


      1. Going to Contacts > Groups
      2. Select your Adopters Group members using the number in the right column
      3. Beside the "Views" dropdown select the "Add a DataTable View" button
      4. Name the view (Ex. Adopters with Address)
      5. In the first field list (the unused options) select "Contact Group Members: Addresses" then select the green plus sign to the right to add it to the fields used in the second box
      6. Use the up and down arrows to move the Address to behind the name field (note you can delete the email here as well using the red minus button)
      7. Save the View, optionally share it, and hit done
      8. In the dropdown box at the upper right corner select Export to CSV or Export to XLS or Export to XML

      From there, you have a spreadsheet document that you can do a mail merge as per the protocol of the software.
