Postponing an Event

We've had to postpone an event. Is there a way to remove it from public display, without having to delete/rebuild the event when it's rescheduled?

      Tama,

      One quick thing you could do is change the event dates to the past. When ready to make the event active, you would change your data table View from Default (Upcoming) to Past to then edit this event.
