I have a user who has not been able to login and trying a password reset didn't work.  She had never logged in when originally given access 2 years ago.  I deleted her login account and now I can't add her back because the software still thinks that her email address is already registered.  Same thing for her username, but I can change that.  She is no longer in contacts, so it's like the record is marked for deletion, but not purged.

Please advise.

      Gale,

For security and auditing purposes, user accounts must all have unique email addresses, even if a user has been deleted.

Site Admins can access deleted users by logging into RescueGroups.org and going to Services > Account Administration > Data Recovery > Users

Site Admins can edit that user account to set the status back to active. Then click the 'Reset Password' option to send them a new password notification.

If your user is not receiving the emails with our password notifications, there is likely an issue with the email being received successfully. Be sure to have them check their spam folder. If they are unable to locate the password notifications, please have them contact our support team so we can help them directly.

      Thanks,
      Emily
