How can I create a report that shows all of my fosters and which dogs they have fostered for us in the past and in the present?

You can use the standard report 'Fosters' to view all of your foster homes and the pets presently in their care (if any). This report can be found under the Contact Reports category when you go to Reports > Reports List.

You can also make a custom Animal report that includes Foster contact fields, and add filters to only include animals that have a foster selected, and only include the species Dog. Here's more information about how to create custom reports: https://userguide.rescuegroups.org/display/WSG/Creating+custom+reports

To see all animals associated with a specific foster, we recommend viewing the foster's contact record and clicking on their Fosters link. You can either search for the contact by name, or view the Foster Group and select a contact there. To view members of your Foster group, go to Contacts > Groups and click on the number in the row for Caretaker/Foster.

Once you have a foster contact record open, just click on the Fosters link at the top of the contact record to view all animals associated with them. For example, here you can see a data table with all of your foster animals:

If you have additional questions, be sure to let us know by opening a support ticket: https://rescuegroups.org/support/

      Sincerely,

      Karen
