What is the difference between Online Form Manager and Online Form User permissions?

Looking at the online user guide, they look exactly the same to me...

About roles, security, and permissions


Online Form Manager
  • Can view all submitted forms
  • Can view all comments on submitted forms
  • Can comment on submitted forms
  • Can assign a submitted form
  • Can change submitted form status
  • Can contact applicant through form
  • Can complete a form for a contact
  • Can change Pass/Fail status of step
  • Can run reports with the Website Service

Online Form User
  • Can view all submitted forms
  • Can view all comments on submitted forms
  • Can comment on submitted forms
  • Can assign a submitted form
  • Can change submitted form status
  • Can contact applicant through the form
  • Can complete a form for a contact
  • Can change Pass/Fail status of step
  • Can run reports with the Website Service

      Dawn,

      Right now, you are correct there is no functionality difference.  There has been in the past and we have retained it in order to possibly make changes in the future.  Please keep an eye on our guides for any changes to permissions.  Thanks for asking!
