I noticed you have an “inactivate” button for contacts.  In your User Guide, it says “An inactive contact will not appear in the list of contacts, for example, when selecting a Foster for an animal.  However, the person will continue to receive emails from your organization, and can still log in to your account if they have permission”.

So once I ‘inactivate’ a contact, if I ever have the need to reactivate it, how can I find that contact if they do not appear in the list of contacts?

it's not a problem I'm having right now, I just want to know how RG works - and posing this question so others can find it out too.  I have NOT 'inactivated' anyone.  I am tempted to because we have volunteers who are no longer active.  I was just questioning the verbiage of your User Guide - to see if it is possible to reactivate someone even though "an inactive contact will not appear in the list of contacts"

        Andrea,

Let me  re-clarify.  If you are trying to find a Contact that is set to Inactive you can find it by changing the Contacts view to "Inactive", finding the Contact, editing the Contact, and changing the status.

However, if you are trying to find a user that has been inactivated/deleted is a little more complex and requires support.

        Sincerely,

        Karen
