In order to have an account with RescueGroups.org you must meet the requirements here, including being an established organization, although you do not have to be a 501(c)(3) non-profit.

The shelter is not a 501-3-c it is an established business. We wish to use your adoption portal to adopt animals out. Is that possible??? Thank you!

I volunteer at Maricopa Animal control west and east in Arizona a high kill shelter. The volunteers are forming a networking team. We would like to be able to log in and post the animals at risk of euthanasia, pre euthanasia list and long timers on your site. We are not a 501. Is this possible????? They kill many animals daily and getting them exposure on your site would save many lives.
So we are not a non-profit organization, but we are a shelter an animal care and control shelter. Does that mean we can use the portal to adopt pets out or no?????
