How do I run a kennel card report and find only active animals?

We use names for dogs over and over, therefore we may, for example, have 6-7 Max's. As time goes on, the number of dogs with the same name increases. When printing out reports on a particular dog, it is easy to mistakenly pick up the wrong dog. 

Is there a way to archive the dogs who have already been placed so they do not show up when selecting a dog who needs a print out?

      When you run a Kennel Card report, at the top of the Dropdown menu list you will see that under 'Animal List Options' there are two options in red.

      The options are 'List all' or 'List active only'. If you select the option 'List active only', then the animals in the menu should only include currently active animals in your organization.
