I contacted RG to ask if there was a way, and they said no, so I created an improvement request in RGs Jira ticket tracking system - I think it would be an extremely helpful improvement! Please vote for it here (https://jira.rescuegroups.org). if you agree

What if you don't write it down and dont get an email? Is there another way to find out the status?

Patty,
I'm assuming you are creating the support ticket from the Support website. When the ticket is created you can write down the ticket number.
For example it might say:
Ticket Key
GNA-151413-WMGYou can enter the ticket key (the entire thing with letters and numbers) on the Support website home page under Update an existing support ticket to view the current status and see any responses.

Has there been an better solution to this issue in last 5 years? As another user commented, this would be an extremely helpful improvement!
As a new user, I assumed the system email me a confirmation or it would be linked to my User Name so I could track it. I didn't know it was on my to grab a screen shot or write down the ticket number so I could get updates. Very annoying.

I cannot figure out how to see or follow up on a Support Ticket that I create. Once it's created, that is the last I see of it. I never receive any confirmation email about it. When I try to find it, I am asked for the Support Ticket number - I don't have that, as I never get an email with that information, when I submit a ticket. I've checked the Messaging Center - the only messages I get there are about microchip registrations. Thanks for any help I can get.
I’ve had the same problem so I always take a screenshot of the created ticket page so I can reference it again.
