How do I generate a donor report, a list of donors with total donated, within a time frame?

I am trying to generate a report that is a list of Donors, with their name, email, address, and the total amount donated (within a time frame).  I cannot seem to figure out how to do this.  Can anyone help me please?  I'm pretty good at doing custom reports, but this one is eluding me.  Thanks so much.

      I have the same problem and I need a similar report for Volunteers.  I hope RGO responds

        I struggled with that also. I think the only way to do it is to export it to excel and put in some formulas and logic. We have decided to use a program designed specifically for donations going forward.
