What is in the age field sent to Petfinder?

What is the Age field that is exported to Petfinder?  Is it a date, number of days, baby, young, adult, senior?  I'm wanting to see specifically how Petfinder determines what age category they are in for searches.

      Hi Stacey, 

      The General Age selector is a drop-down menu with common ages like Baby, Young, Adult, and Senior.   This field is exported to the adoption listing websites including Adopt-a-Pet.com and Petfinder.  In addition, if you are using our Website Service features, these selectors determine whether an animal is displayed in one of your special lists.  For instance, if you use  Kittens as a special list, then your RescueGroups.org Website Service will automatically display any cats there that you have checked Baby in the General Age list.
