Data sharing- Does Rescuegroups.org share donor and other contact info?

I was recently told that when we use rescue groups, other organizations have access to all of the names, email addresses, and addresses of our donors. Is this true? Is any information about our donors shared with other organizations? Thank you.

      Let me be very clear: NO. Rescuegroups.org does not share any donor information. Your information is secure.


      The only thing similar I've heard is that any Volunteer with a login to the account has access to the Contacts. But no, we (meaning Rescuegroups.org) don't share contacts with other organizations. There is the Do Not Adopt list that is shared (optional) but has to be configured by the organizations themselves.
