We report to SAC, and I use RG reports to generate a monthly report to enter the data. Given the basic info that SAC asks for, I haven't found it very difficult. I just go to Reports and I run an Intake report and an Outcome report, specifying the time frame and the specific info I need (I add species, general age) and then just enter in the numbers into the SAC database.
