Is there a way to keep a record of the animals a person has fostered once they are no longer fostering and we remove them from the caretaker/foster group?  Once we uncheck that box, the animals they have fostered disappears.  The only option I see is to keep them in the group forever, which makes it virtually impossible to keep track of active foster homes.

I'm interested in this answer also! I didn't realize it took away the animals they had fostered

    Shirley,

Removing the Contact from the Caretaker/foster group doesn't remove them as foster of the animals.  But the information may not show up in reports.

You might be able to change the Contact's status to inactive instead of removing them from the Caretaker/foster group.

Both the Caretaker/foster group, and the animal's Foster selection is meant to be the current value/status.  We don't have a historical report of fosters for animals.
