Petfinder showing 6 photos now.... but not syncing 6 from RG?

I see that PF allows 6 photos to display now.  But only 3 photos sync from RG.  Will that change in the future?   Also, if I go into PF and upload 3 additional photos, what happens when RG syncs with PF the next time?  Will it override?  (sorry if you've covered this - I did search through all the questions, but could not find this specific question asked or answered.)  Thanks.

      Patty,

      The Petfinder FTP import only provides the ability to upload three pictures per pet.  I don't know if or when Petfinder might change that.

      We do not know if picture changes (including adding pictures) will survive an import.

        I added photos to PF directly several days ago, and they are still there.  Not in the same order as in RG (the first one on RG is not the first one/primary on PF), but at least it didn't remove photos, when re-syncing.

          Thanks Richard.  I'll keep an eye on PF and let you know what happens to the photos.

          Richard, how do I get notifications when someone answers a question I post?  I've asked this in other questions and support requests, but have never received a response (that I know of).  I've checked all my notification settings, and everything is set correctly, but I do not get notifications when someone responds to a question I've posted.  I have to go into my Dashboard and try to find my questions, and see if anyone has responded.

          I'm obviously doing something incorrectly.
