What does this microchip registration message mean?

Registered a Datamars/Petlink mchip and this came up on the screen - what does it mean?  "Registration of PetLink microchip not saved for non-PetLink registry."  We completed all the necessary things to do, to register Petlink chips via RG.  Is it registered?  How do I verify?

      Patty,

      The answer to your question can be found in the Microchip Registrations article here: How to use the automatic microchip registration feature

      In other words, the chip you registered is a Datamars/PetLink chip, and will not be registered with registries other than PetLink.

      I believe that you can login to your Petlink account and check the registration status of the chip, or search the Petlink registry.  If you have any additional concerns about the registration of the chip you should contact PetLink.
