An Adoption tracks different information than an Outcome, and some organizations want to track their Adoptions but not necessarily track the additional details that are in an Outcome.
The best way for you to handle this is to add an Outcome, select Adoption as the Outcome type, and enter the Adoption right from the Add an Outcome screen.

But when you do that the information does not auto populate like it should, if it did then I would be fine with that process.

Also, if you use Petlink microchips, you MUST do an adoption as an Adoption first, THEN do the outcome, or the microchip registration doesn't work. (I learned that the hard way.)

After logging in an adoption, why do we also have to go to Outcomes and do an outcome? Seems like it should automatically be logged as an outcome, as that's what an adoption is.
