Can we update the Days in Foster report calculations?

Can we update the "Days in Foster" field to calculate from (adopted date - received date) or (euth date - received date) in statuses other than available (which would use the current calculation of Today - received date)?

      Has this still not been fixed in 5 years?   We have been using RG for about 1 1/2 years and just noticed the big discrepancy (overcounting) of days in foster care.    This occurs even in a record that was entered the exacted day the dog was received, and logged the exact day of euthanasia 7 days later.   It reports 15 days in care.    Today is 15 days from the intake. 

       What fields IS it calculating from?  Day of report from day of intake?

        Kathy,

        Thanks for your post.  The problem with the current Days in Foster calculation is that it's based on animal fields, which has been causing some problems, including cases where the dates are not entered, or the animal is returned (or in your care) multiple times.

        We will be updating the Days in Foster report to use the Intakes / Outcomes as the source for the days, i.e., the Intake date to the Outcome date.  I do not have an ETA for when that change will be made, but at that time a new Days in Foster report will be created to provide more reliable calculations.
