We specifically state on an animal's webpage whether the dog needs a fenced yard, and if so the size of fence.  It seems that this information is not always shared to or maybe captured by all the various animal exports, because we are getting many applications on an animal where we have specifically noted that a fenced yard is required. Some of the applications we are receiving, including one through Overstock.com only notes that a yard is needed for this animal.   Why don't the animal exports state the same information as is on a specific dog's webpage?

Thank you!

      Lori,

RescueGroups.org provides the public information to the adoption listing websites, including fields like fence required and fence height.  But there's no way we can force a 3rd party to show specific information on their website.  I would recommend that if you want to make it clear about fence requirements that you include that information in the pet's description.
