We are changing the name of our organization from Emerald Coast Animal Allies to Animal Allies Florida.  What documentation do I need to give RescueGroups for name change?

      Sharyn,

      To change your organization's name you should first submit your name change to the state and IRS as applicable.  Then please submit a request to us with the documentation you created above.

      Also, you should update your Petfinder and Adopt-a-Pet.com accounts yourself.  RescueGroups.org does not update your organization information in those accounts and you should login to your account and update the information yourself.

      Once we receive your request and any paperwork, we may ask for a Veterinarian's Reference using the new organization name.  You can provide a vet reference to save time, but it may not be required.

      Once we have approved your name change we will change it for you in your RescueGroups.org account.  The change to your RescueGroups.org account should update all websites that use the RescueGroups.org API (all adoption listing websites that receive our data other than the legacy Petfinder and Adopt-a-Pet.com websites).
