How do I create a Level 1 Menu item that doesn't link?

   Let's say you'd like to have a menu item that says Ways to Help, but you don't want it to link to a web page. Instead, you would like it to be a level 1 menu item, then have your Donation, Volunteer pages appear below.

   To do this you would Create a Menu Item, and use a Url of #.

   Tip: I like to name these types of menu items Heading-Name of page, this way when I'm looking in my link list, I can spot that it's a heading and not a page.

   Here's how to do this:

   • To do this follow the instructions on how to Creating a new menu item for custom links .
   • Then for your menu item
     
     • Name: Heading-Ways to Help
     • Text: Ways to Help
     • URL: #
   • Save Menu Item

   Now you can add that Level 1 item to your menu, and add pages below that, Level 2.
