How can we sort a list of cats and dogs by name, not species?

We want to run a valentine's day special for the month so are using the Urgent special list to display 50 cats and dogs who have been with us a longer than normal time. The problem is, it displays all 25 cats first, then the dogs. We'd like them listed alphabetically. Any work around? Or a suggestion for another way to do it?

      Unfortunately, our Urgent list cannot currently be custom sorted. We'd like to consider adding this capability, so I would recommend that you add a feature request in our Jira tracking system as described in the article below:
