When we get a ping from someone interested in adopting an animal, it would be very helpful to have the adoption request assigned right to the animal's foster, otherwise, we just spend time reviewing emails and manually forwarding the inquiries.

I "second" the request.  Although there would be a need to flag at the contact level foster dataelement, whether they are "screening" foster homes that have been trained and tested, or whether they are "non screening".

With on average 80+ foster homes, our applications triage person has a heck of a time figuring out who does what.  If the foster homes were static, that would be manageable, but in our case, there is a core group of long timers, and the transient fosters who either love it, or unable to do it due to human separation anxiety on adoption date.

      Cheers,

Mario, the options currently include the ability to change the Submitted Form's assignee to be one person – typically this is an adoption coordinator or manager.  We could in the future add the option to automatically assign to the animal's foster (if applicable), although not all Submitted Forms are required to have an animal selected, and not even all of those animals may have a foster set.  I'll mark this Question as a Request so we can consider this additional feature in the future.  Thank you!
