Yo've probably figured thsi out, but the easier way to handle this may be to simply run yourself a report of animals...either "all" or "available" or "adopted"...whatever you need and you'll be able to see all entered animals in one glance before you get started with entry

We're just getting started with Rescue Groups, and adding animals is somewhat of a challenge because it's happening piecemeal. This means that whenever I go to add an animal, I've got to first check whether it's already been entered, and that can take time. It would be nice if, when a "new" animal name is typed, animals with matching (or similar) names are popped up, so I can easily tell whether I'm in duplicate territory. This might also help us choose new animal names so as not to end up with 10,000 "Daisy"s, or two "Dex"s at the same time.
