Owned Animal Assistance

We do quite a lot of surrender prevention, through helping people with their pets.  How do I enter OWNED animals?  And can I add an animal status, such as "owned" and "rehomed?  We facilitate rehoming, without actually taking possession of the animal.  (we pay for vetting, s/n, etc and assist the owner to rehome.)  

Also, can I create a custom contact category, such as "owner".

      Patty, you can select the Owner for the animal (and add the appropriate contact), and chose a non-public status (like Domestication, Not Available, etc).

      As far as the Contact groups – you can create custom ones under Contacts > Groups.
